Bracket Tournament

The CommonlyCreative Bracket Tournament ("Bracket Tournament", "CCBT") is a bracket tournament teams will be placed into. The bracket will be a double elimination to allow teams to have a change to have a chance to have a chance at redemption. This will be a multi-day event where standings are updated and changed each day. The days of the events will be explained below in the Bracket Example section.

Smurfing

SMURFING (e.g. claiming a rank lower than your actual correct rank) will NOT be allowed nor tolerated. Teams caught smurfing will result in a disqualification and ban from ALL CommonlyCreative Events/Tournaments. We want to ensure a fun environment for all our members, to do that we need your support in honest and truthful enrollments to create a balanced environment.

Team Selection

Something that is important to keep in mind is that players that enroll must find and bring in their own team. While constructing your team, there are special restrictions while making the teams to allow for more fairness. This will be discussed later in the Winnings Calculation section. You should ensure your team understands the guidelines when creating a team to ensure optimum results. To learn how to create a team in CommonlyCreative, please refer to this video to know the steps how.

Winnings Calculation

Important: It is important to keep in mind, that since this is the first event of its type I want to ensure a proper structure and also a fun event first and foremost. As well as this, due to me being a new streamer with no income from streaming, I won't be able to give the full earnings as I would like to. This will result in the winnings for the first event (i.e. this event) will be reduced by a factor of 5.

The calculations of the winnings are shown in the image below.

As you can see, the lower the rank the more your team will receive for the earnings. The main objective of this obstacle is to make a stronger incentive to allow lower ranks in your team who can perform at a high enough level to give your team a cutting edge.

Bracket Example

It's important to keep in mind this will be a double elimination bracket. The image below is an example of what a bracket would look like with 8 teams.

Match Structure

As shown above, you can see the structure of matches by the match number. On the first two days, we'll be holding 3 matches in order. So Day 1 will be match 1-3 and Day 2 will be match 4-6. The 4 winners of each match will be move on to matches 7 and 8 which will be on Day 3 of the event. The 4 losers of the match will be moved to the losers bracket on match 5 and 6 for the following day. Day 3 and Day 4 will have match 7-8 and match 9-10 respectfully. The losers of match 7 and 8 will move down to the losers bracket that will happen the following day (i.e. Day 4). Day 5 and 6 are going to be similar to Days 3 and 4. Match 11 and 12 will be held on Day 5 and match 13 and 14 will be held on the final day, Day 6.
