The Evolutionary Banquet is a game mode requested by our community member Pedro (a.k.a. sloper). This game mode takes inspiration from the anime Blue Lock where Isagi enters the second selection. How this event will connect with Blue Lock is as follows.
Contestants will enroll in the event individually with their rank stated. From there, teams of 3 will be formed. The newly formed teams will be given 5 minutes to strategize a plan to ensure their victory in what's next. Teams will then be placed in 3on3 match ups where they will play until one team gets to 7 rounds1. After the 3on3 match, two things will happen:
- The winning team will advance to the 4on4 match up by selecting one of the players from the losing team to accompany them.
- The losing team will move down to the 2on2 match up, the bottom of the match up bracket where, if they lose again, one player will be eliminated.
Match Structures
Other than 3on3s there are 3 more stages of match ups:
- 2on2s - first to 5 rounds1
- 4on4s - first to 10 rounds1
- 5on5s - first to 13 rounds1
Depending on whether or not your team wins, you can proceed to the next stage or will be moved back to the previous stage.
Goal
Your goal in this event is to win a 5on5 with your constructed team. The first 3 teams to pass win the tournament.
